Here’s The Trailer For This Season Of Curb Your Enthusiasm In Case You Missed It Last Night
So HBO posted this trailer at 9 pm last night and may have gone under the radar for anyone that was watching that traveshamockery of a game by the Giants offense. If HBO had posted it at 10 pm, more people would have seen it since it was evident that Big Blue’s offense was flat lining. But at 9 pm it seemed like it still seemed like that could have been a fun and competitive game. Instead it was an abject disaster for everyone on the Giants except for Odell Beckham, whose leverage in contract talks is somehow even higher than it was 24 hours ago.
As for the trailer, I don’t really have much to say other than it was definitely a Curb trailer. Like I blogged about when those dickhead hackers leaked some unaired episodes, you can’t spoil Curb because you know exactly what you are going to get out of Curb. Larry is going to have strong opinions, piss a bunch of people off over something minor, and end up getting screwed in the end. All you have to do is fill in the specifics for each episode like a game of Mad Libs. And since Curb is on during the football season, it’s the perfect time filler for once Sunday Night Football goes to halftime. On one hand you can watch Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison spew nonsense at you before those weird ass Toyota commercials come on or you can fire up the ol’ DVR and watch one of the comedic geniuses of our time continue to bang out A+ material with a mind that ages like Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Your choice.
